Good Things Take Time

Do you ever feel like giving up? Do you ever feel like no matter what you do you can’t drop the pounds, can’t get stronger, can’t …whatever, you name it. When we don’t see results we expect or want, it is so easy to get frustrated and give up. We tell ourselves, “Why bother with this if nothing seems to be happening?” We tell ourselves “I don’t care about trying anymore”…(although you probably still do).

 

There has probably been a time when we all thought about giving up, but I’m here pleading with you to NOT GIVE UP! Do you know why? Because YOU are worthwhile investment! Your health is not something to be taken lightly; your body allows you to do everything else that you have going on, every single day. You have one body, a gift, what are you going to do with it? Will you neglect it and let it waste away? Or will you nourish it, and train it to be the best that it can be?

 

Another thing to remember is that if you set unrealistic expectations or unnecessary expectations on yourself, of course you will feel defeated and want to give up! Maybe you need to shift your mindset and reevaluate your goals and what you are trying to accomplish. Some things will work for some people and for others it won’t. Whatever your goals may be, just remember it’s trial and error sometimes. Maybe it takes time to know what works with your body for your specific goals. Be patient with yourself. Work hard but be patient; good things take time.
