The visionary behind LUX. As a Registered Nurse, Naturopath, Functional Nutritionist, and Holistic Health Practitioner, Michelle spent years in healthcare observing how poor nutrition and inactivity contribute to declining health. Fueled by a passion for prevention, she transitioned her career to focus on holistic wellness and fitness. LUX transformed to a space where people can achieve their personal health goals through a comprehensive, whole-body approach. At LUX, we offer personalized guidance that connects the mind and body, empowering individuals to not only improve their fitness but also nurture their overall well-being.
I'm a Registered Nurse who's passionate about preventative health. I love encouraging others towards their personal goals through healthy habits such as exercising and eating healthy. As a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), a Certified Functional Strength Coach, and a Certified Group Fitness Instructor through AFAA, I understand the importance of finding the right gym in Clarks Summit, PA for achieving optimal health and fitness.
I was born and raised in Lackawanna county. Since I was young I has always loved many sports including rock climbing, soccer, track, gymnastics, and mountain biking. I attended Marywood University and have a bachelors degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. I have a profound passion for maintaining a healthy lifestyle through exercising, playing sports, and mindful eating, which allows me to instill these values in the individuals I work with. My encouraging attitude, positive mindset, and quirky sense of humor make me a unique trainer who can truly impact someone's life for the better. I'm a ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Functional Strength Coach.
I from New Jersey but relocated to the Scranton area to embark on a career dedicated to fitness. With a lifelong commitment to staying active. I'm driven by the desire to ignite others' enthusiasm for physical well-being. My aim is to inspire and support individuals in embracing a more positive, healthy, and active lifestyle through fitness. My involvement in gymnastics and fitness inspired me to pursue a degree in Exercise Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. With experience spanning diverse demographics, I specialize in assisting individuals with metabolic disease, heart conditions, seniors, and children.
I major in Exercise Science at Slippery Rock University and have a passion for the preventative side of health and wellness. I love helping individuals work toward specific goals whether that’s exercise, or nutrition related. As a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), a science-based lifter, and someone who loves exercise and eating healthy myself, I understand the importance of finding your fit when it comes to all things fitness and hope to help my clients achieve all of their goals.
I’m deeply passionate about utilizing exercise as a building block to healthy living. I find sincere joy in forming relationships with clients at LUX and helping them achieve their goals. I’m committed to meeting each client where they are in their health journey and guiding them in a positive direction. Outside of the gym, you can find me skiing, going to concerts, and cheering on the Nittany Lions. We Are!
After going through an incredible transformation, myself my dedication and passion for fitness motivated her to take the next step and become an instructor. I bring an infectious energy to every class, encouraging members to push beyond their limits. I believe that fitness is more than just exercise; it’s a way to empower yourself both mentally and physically. I’m excited to continue inspiring others on their fitness journey at LUX.
